DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Correct production of all foodstuffs, following the recipe cards, production procedures and proper hygiene practices, according to the instructions of the senior kitchen staff,
Cleans and sanitizes work areas including refrigerators, walk-in coolers, working counters, and portable food equipment and have the ability to report any defect on equipment being used.
Preparing meat in accordance with laid down procedures.
Reducing meat wastage wherever possible.
Ensuring the availability of quality meat for customers.
Receiving deliveries of meat and checking their content and hygiene.
Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Ensuring that all meat is handled and stored correctly.
Carrying out temperature checks on meat and recording the readings accordingly.
Using processing, fabricating and packing machines.
